Intimate surgery may address comfort, anatomy, function and individual expectations with privacy at every step. Labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, perineoplasty and pubic contour procedures have different indications. Non-surgical treatments require separate assessment. The hymen cannot establish sexual history.

Normal genital anatomy varies widely. Treatment decisions should be based on symptoms such as friction or postpartum problems, not appearance alone.
